It is year 1983. We are watching a beauty contest because there is nothing else to watch. If we let ourselves in the situation, we notice that their smiles that seem so perfectly stable, static and confident are really accompanied by a subtle tic at the right corner of their mouths. This happens to all 23 participants at the same time (generating a silent roar) except one. What does she hide underneath that smile?

little bird on rachel’s hat
Rachel has a little bird that goes wherever she goes becoming a witness of all her queries.
Sometimes people don’t let her in but she doesn’t mind.
Other times when it seems urgent, she puts him in her special purse and tells him to be quiet.
This purse has a little hole that allows the creature to breath, listen and observe the scene.
Rachel then gets in those once prohibited places. She has momentarily won the battle.
